Aston Villa vs Derby County predictions – Aston Villa line-up

Aston Villa are just one step away from a place in the Premier League next season after a dramatic victory on penalties over West Brom in the playoff semifinal second-leg.

Dean Smith will have to continue their good form for one last time this season and any mistake would lead to yet another campaign in the Championship.

Team News

Thomas Carroll, Jordan Lyden and Orjan Nyland have all been ruled out of the final at Wembley, while James Chester could make a return to the squad. The biggest issue for Dean Smith will be Axel Tuanzebe’s injury and the Manchester United loanee is a massive doubt for the big game.
