Manchester City vs Cardiff City predictions: Manchester City line-up

A 2-0 win over Fulham saw Manchester City return to the top of the Premier League table but a late goal saw Liverpool surge past them. But given the fact that Manchester City have a game in hand, Pep Guardiola and company have a chance to get their lead back.

They face Cardiff City mid-week and have the chance take pole position even if it is by one point. The fact that Liverpool don’t play until the weekend should play a part in that but it’s City’s game to lose. Cardiff City did not have the best weekend, with offside calls going against them.

But that being said, the Bluebirds are not in great form, having won just one out of their last five games. This gives Manchester City a chance to pick up yet another win and move up the ladder.

Team News

Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho returned to the fold against Fulham but unfortunately, Sergio Aguero walked off. The Argentinean asked for the substitution just before the 60th minute mark, and could miss the game.
