Leeds United vs Hull City Prediction: Leeds United line-up

Leeds United will play host to Hull City on Tuesday, hoping to continue their fantastic form in the Championship.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side defeated Huddersfield Town 2-0 over the weekend to extend their winning run to six games. They will look to maintain pressure on leaders West Brom with a win over Yorkshire rivals Hull City.

Meanwhile, Hull City are 12th on the table and come into Tuesday’s contest on the back of a 2-1 success over Stoke City.

Team News

Jamie Shackleton and Adam Forshaw are two long-term absences due to injury. Liam Cooper has been ruled out of the Hull game with a thigh strain.

Probable Leeds United XI

Formation: 3-3-3-1

Kiko Casilla (GK)

Casilla had an excellent game against Huddersfield, making a couple of crucial saves. He will aim to keep another clean sheet on Tuesday.

Luke Ayling (RCB)

Ayling has thrived in a back-three system and should keep his place in the team.

Ben White (CB)

Leeds’ defensive lynchpin, White will have a task cut out against Hull’s in-form attack Jarrod Bowen.

Gaetano Berardi (LCB)

With Cooper still injured, Berardi is expected to continue in defence.

Stuart Dallas (RM)

Dallas has been one of Leeds’ most consistent performers this season and deserves to retain his place in the team.

Kalvin Phillips (CDM)

Phillips has been key to the way Leeds play. He is indispensable to Bielsa and will walk straight back into the starting XI after serving a one-game suspension.

Ezgjan Alioski (LM)

Pablo Hernandez (RW)

Hernandez had a good game against Huddersfield as he scored the Whites’ second with a bullet header at the far post. He should start on the right flank.

Mateusz Klich (CAM)

Klich offers a lot of energy and intensity to Leeds’ play, making him such an important cog for Bielsa.
