Predicted Liverpool line-up to face Cardiff City in the Premier League

Liverpool ran riot against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League as Jurgen Klopp’s men came away with a 4-0 win at Anfield. The Merseyside club have now picked up two consecutive wins and will be aiming to make it three out of three when they come up against Cardiff City in the Premier League this weekend.

The Bluebirds have been one of the most dreadful sides in the Premier League this season and are currently languishing right above the relegation zone. Liverpool entertain Neil Warnock’s men at Anfield and will be hoping to see out the win in a comfortable fashion.

Sadio Mane, who suffered a hand injury during the international break, featured against Red Star Belgrade and came out fine. However, both Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are still major doubts and will probably not be available for the weekend.

Milner should return to the line-up in place of Shaqiri for this game and will be expected to work tirelessly in the middle of the park.

Mohamed Salah (RW)

The Egyptian is now the fastest player to score 50 goals for Liverpool. This just might be the start of Salah’s season.

Roberto Firmino (ST)

Firmino scored a goal against Red Star Belgrade and looked threatening all game. The Brazilian must now aim to maintain his form.
