Predicted Liverpool line-up to face Cardiff City in the Premier League
Liverpool ran riot against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League as Jurgen Klopp’s men came away with a 4-0 win at Anfield. The Merseyside club have now picked up two consecutive wins and will be aiming to make it three out of three when they come up against Cardiff City in the Premier League this weekend.
The Bluebirds have been one of the most dreadful sides in the Premier League this season and are currently languishing right above the relegation zone. Liverpool entertain Neil Warnock’s men at Anfield and will be hoping to see out the win in a comfortable fashion.
Sadio Mane, who suffered a hand injury during the international break, featured against Red Star Belgrade and came out fine. However, both Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are still major doubts and will probably not be available for the weekend.

A spectator against Red Star Belgrade, the Brazilian is definitely set to keep his place against Cardiff City as well.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)
Arnold was impressive on his return to the line-up against the Serbian outfit. He should keep his place for this game as well.
Virgil Van Dijk (CB)
Van Dijk will continue to start at the back for Jurgen Klopp’s men. He has been flawless so far.
Dejan Lovren (CB)
The Croatian should take the place of Joe Gomez, giving the youngster some much-needed rest.
Andrew Robertson (LB)
Robertson was superb against Red Star Belgrade and has been one of the standout performers this season.
Adam Lallana (RCM)
The midfielder came on and looked lively in the Champions League. He will start in central midfield for this one.
Fabinho looked impressive on his Champions League debut for the Reds. With Henderson out, he should start once against.
James Milner (LCM)
Milner should return to the line-up in place of Shaqiri for this game and will be expected to work tirelessly in the middle of the park.
Mohamed Salah (RW)
The Egyptian is now the fastest player to score 50 goals for Liverpool. This just might be the start of Salah’s season.
Roberto Firmino (ST)
Firmino scored a goal against Red Star Belgrade and looked threatening all game. The Brazilian must now aim to maintain his form.
Sadio Mane (LW)
Mane looked slightly off the pace against Red Star but he will, nevertheless, keep his place in the squad.
