Predicted Leicester City line-up to face Cardiff City in the Premier League

Leicester City return to the Premier League after enduring an emotional week after their chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s unfortunate demise in a helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium. The Foxes’ mid-week clash was postponed but they are set to return to the Premier League this weekend to take on Cardiff City.

The Bluebirds are on the back of a thrashing from Liverpool last weekend and are in dire need of some results. Claude Puel will be aiming to pick up a win and lift the spirits of the Leicester faithful.

Daniel Amartey will definitely be out for this game after suffering an injury in the last fixture. Matty James is also out injured but Claude Puel has no other major concerns at the moment and can deploy a strong team.

Evans should return to the line-up in place of Caglar Soyuncu for this game.

Harry Maguire (CB)

The Foxes’ leader and voice of motivation in the team. He will definitely start this game as well.

Chilwell has stepped up his performances for the club this season and is set to enjoy a great campaign with the Foxes.

Ndidi bailed the Foxes out last time after scoring the equalising goal in stunning fashion.

Vicente Iborra (LCM)

Iborra has looked good in the middle of the park and should continue alongside Wilfred Ndidi.

The Algerian wasn’t as effective in the last game as his previous one. He will nevertheless continue on the right-hand side of the attacking midfield.

Maddison has created ample chances for the Foxes this season. His creativity has been excellent.

Albrighton was superb in the last game against the Hammers. He should start this one as well.
