Predicted Everton line-up to face Brighton in the Premier League

Everton will host Brighton at the Goodison Park as Marco Silva aims to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Toffees lost 2-1 against Manchester United last weekend but Silva would be happy with the way his team fought till the end at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese manager will hope to see Everton pick all three points against Brighton, who are on a three-game unbeaten run at the moment and come into Saturday’s clash on the back of a 1-0 victory over Wolves.

Team News

Marco Silva will have a full squad to select his team against Brighton barring James McCarthy, who is lacking match fitness.

Probable Everton XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Marco Silva

Jordan Pickford (GK)

Pickford was excellent against United, justifying why he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League at the moment. He is a sure starter for Everton.

Michael Keane

Seamus Coleman (RB)

Coleman is an attacking right-back who loves to bomb forward and join the attacks.

Michael Keane (CB)

He is playing some of the best football in Everton colours at the moment. In central defence, Keane is a certain starter against Brighton.

Kurt Zouma (CB)

Zouma adds a lot of pace and power to the Everton backline. The Frenchman should start alongside Keane at the heart of the Everton defence.

Lucas Digne (LB)

With consistent displays at left-back, Digne has successfully kept Baines out of the picture. Should continue to do so.

Idrissa Gueye (CM)

A feisty little character, Gueye adds a lot of energy to the midfield. His excellent ball-retention abilities make him such an important cog in the Everton team.

Andre Gomes (CM)

Gomes has been very good in the two games he has played so far in the Premier League. He has already made a big difference in the team and should start against Brighton.

Richarlison (LW)

Richarlison could get back to his usual position – the left wing. He needs to be at his best to guide his team to three points.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (CAM)

Sigurdsson links the play between the midfield and the attack. His set-pieces and the ability to pick a pass are second to nothing.

Theo Walcott

Theo Walcott (RW)

Walcott needs to start delivering the goods from the right wing. He could pose a threat to the Brighton backline with his pace and directness on the ball.

Cenk Tosun (ST)

Tosun could get the nod ahead of Calvert-Lewin on Saturday. The Turkish star desperately needs a goal or two to regain his confidence.
