Predicted Arsenal line-up to face Leicester City in the Premier League

An in-form and firing Arsenal welcome Leicester City who have been in decent form too so far. The Gunners are on a run of nine consecutive wins in all competitions, six in a row in the league. The Foxes too have made a fairly good start to the season, claiming 12 points from eight games.

Unai Emery’s men are fourth in the standings and look good to challenge for a top-four finish this season. They would be looking to get the job done against tricky opponents and make it 10 out of 10.

Team News

Laurent Koscielny is recovering well but will make a comeback only after November. Mesut Ozil is back in training and would be considered for the Monday game.

Danny Welbeck suffered a hamstring strain, which could keep him out of action for this match. Petr Cech is still out while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is back in training.

Probable Arsenal XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Unai Emery

Bernd Leno (GK)

The German has done well since taking the gloves from Cech. His distribution is key to the team trying to play out from the back.

Hector Bellerin (RB)

Bellerin is doing his job very well this season. His defensive contributions still need some ironing though.

Shkodran Mustafi

Shkodran Mustafi (CB)

The German has commanded his area well in the past couple of games, which is instilling confidence in the team.

Rob Holding (CB)

With Sokratis picking up an injury while playing for Greece, Holding is expected to partner Mustafi on Monday.

Nacho Monreal (LB)

The ever-present Monreal is expected to start at left-back despite Sead Kolasinac being fit.

Lucas Torreira

Lucas Torreira (CM)

The Uruguayan has made a telling impact in the midfield since his arrival in the summer. He could be one of the key components for the next few years.

Granit Xhaka (CM)

Alongside Torreira, Xhaka has looked good as he is getting more freedom on the ball. A good partnership in the making.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (LW)

Aubameyang should take his place at left-wing after scoring a brace against Fulham.

Mesut Ozil (CAM)

The German is back fit and is certain to be in the line-up. His best position is still the No.10 role behind the striker.

Alex Iwobi

Alex Iwobi (RW)

Iwobi was impressive against Fulham a fortnight ago. Therefore, he deserves to be in the eleven for the game on Monday.
