Predicted West Ham United Line-up To Face Huddersfield Town In The Premier League

West Ham United have already hit rock bottom in the Premier League points table, losing all their three games in the league so far. Manager Slaven Bilic is already under severe pressure to deliver results and he has a chance to make things right this weekend as they face a newly promoted Huddersfield Town in their first game after the international break.

David Wagner’s men have been astonishingly good in the top flight, winning two of their three league games this season, standing 3rd in the points table. The manager will hope for yet another victory but will face a resilient West Ham side that will prove hard to beat.

Team News

Andre Ayew, Manuel Lanzini and Edimilson Fernandes all picked up injuries while on international duty and are not expected to feature in this tie. Marko Arnautovic remains suspended but Andy Carroll and Winston Reid are both expected to be back in action this weekend.

Manager: Slaven Bilic

Formation: 3-5-2

GK – Joe Hart

The English star has not had the greatest time so far back in the league and will hope to put in a strong performance in this game.

CB – Pablo Zabaleta

The experienced full-back from Argentina, Zabaleta should be used as a part of the back-3 in this tie by Bilic.

CB – Winston Reid

Though he’s just back from an injury, Reid is the skipper of the side and is an important player, who deserves to start this game at the heart of the backline.

Winston Reid

CB – Angelo Ogbonna

The Italian star was superb at the start of the previous season and he should start on the left-hand side of the 3-man backline for the Hammers.

RWB – Michail Antonio

With Zabaleta playing as a CB, Bilic has little options but to use Antonio, who has been productive as a wing-back. Surely, Michail won’t disappoint, would he?

CM – Declan Rice

The Irish youngster put in a solid performance last game and the manager should stick with him in the midfield for this game.

CM – Mark Noble

The experienced Mark Noble should help Rice settle in and add mettle to a midfield that has been struggling for more than a couple of  games now.

Mark Noble

CM – Chiekhou Kouyate

The first choice midfielder for West Ham, Kouyate is just starting to get back to full stride after his injury and will hope to put in a solid performance against the league’s newbies.

LWB – Aaron Cresswell

The English full-back is easily one of the best in the business in this role and he should start as a wing-back on the left-hand side this weekend.

ST – Javier Hernandez

The newbie for West Ham, Chicharito has not taken the league by storm but he will be a danger man to the Terriers in this tie.

ST – Andy Carroll

Just back from an injury, Carroll should be pushed into the first team straight away to add balance and dynamism to the West Ham attack.
