Predicted Arsenal Line-up To Face West Bromwich Albion In The Premier League

After making their way into the fourth round of the League Cup in the midweek, Arsenal are back in action in the Premier League, in a Monday night kick-off against West Bromwich Albion on match-day 6 of the competition. The Gunners are fresh from a draw against Chelsea but will not find it any easier to pick points off an in-form Baggies side in this tie.

West Brom have now won two and drawn two of their first five games of the season and will go for the kill.

Team News

In early team news, Arsenal are still without Calum Chambers, Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla, all of who are still nursing injuries. Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott are both close to making a comeback but are doubtful for this game.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Manager: Arsene Wenger

GK – Petr Cech

After being rested for the League Cup tie, Cech should be back on goal for this league fixture for Arsenal.

CB – Laurent Koscielny

The skipper of the side, Koscielny has been effective as a part of the back-3 and he is expected to start on the right side of the backline.

Laurent Koscielny

CB – Shkodran Mustafi

The German defender has been solid at the back for the Gunners and should keep his place at the heart of the backline for Arsenal.

CB – Nacho Monreal

The full-back turned CB has done a good job as a part of the new backline for Arsenal and is expected to start on the left-side of the back-3 in this game.

RWB – Hector Bellerin

Bellerin seems to be getting better once again after struggling for few months. With no options available for that role, Wenger should stick with the Spaniard.

CM – Granit Xhaka

The struggling Granit Xhaka should start firing soon if Arsenal are to pick up momentum and stich together a string of good results.

CM – Aaron Ramsey

The Welsh international was brilliant against Chelsea and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t partner Xhaka in the midfield.

LWB – Sead Kolasinac

The newbie for Arsenal, Kolasinac had a productive game against Chelsea last week and will hope for a similar outing this weekend as well.

RW – Alex Iwobi

With Ozil still not completely fit, Wenger has little choice but to use Iwobi on the right-hand side of the attack.

LW – Alexis Sanchez

The Chilean international started the league cup game and though did not have the best of times, he is expected to start yet again, this weekend.

ST – Alexandre Lacazette

The French international has not been consistent in front of goal and will not find it easy to score goals against a disciplined West Brom side in this tie.
