Hull City opinion: Should the Tigers make a move for Lee Burge?
The Coventry Telegraph has reported that Hull City are interested in making a move for Coventry City star Lee Burge. A valuable star for Coventry, the 26 year old star has been in fine form this season, playing in over 82% of Coventry’s games this season.
Burge’s current contract with the club expires at the end of the season, and that has made him a very valuable player for Hull City. The Tigers are also on the lookout for a new shot-stopper and believe that Lee Burge is their man, after watching him play in the League One this season.
It’s no surprise that the club
The Coventry Telegraph has reported that a goalkeeper is among Hull City’s top summer targets and they may not get better players than Lee Burge. On a free transfer, the 26-year-old would be a massive coup. Not the tallest goalkeeper in the world, Burge stands at 6’2” which is a pretty great height for any player.
It allows Burge to keep his agility to a maximum and yet reach out to save even the farthest shots from him. That combined with his incredible reflexes and decision-making makes him far better than what Hull City have at the moment.
Furthermore, like a lot of modern goalkeepers, Lee Burge is comfortable with the ball at his feet, showing composure and an eye for a pass. Since the player would be available for free, this allows the club to splurge on other areas, which could effectively pave the way for them to return to the Premier League next season.

Conclusion
Hull City need a new goalkeeper in the summer and few players would be as good as Lee Burge for the Tigers. The 26-year-old is reliable between the sticks and more importantly, younger and more experienced than Hull City’s current options.
