Howe to make 8 changes – Predicted 3-4-2-1 Bournemouth lineup to face West Ham

Predicted Bournemouth Lineup To Face West Ham United In The Premier League

Bournemouth will be hoping to come back strongly from their FA Cup exit during the midweek, when they take on West Ham United in the Premier League at the London Stadium, on Saturday.

Eddie Howe’s side were dumped out of the FA Cup, courtesy of a 3-0 battering at the hands of League One outfit Wigan Athletic in the third-round replay. However, despite the loss, the Cherries come into the game on a four-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, which includes a 3-3 draw against the Hammers at the Vitality Stadium and a 2-1 win over Arsenal last weekend.

Team News

Howe will be without the services of forward Joshua King and winger Junior Stanislas, both of whom are out with hamstring injuries. Jermain Defoe and Tyrone Mings are also unavailable with ankle and back injuries respectively.

Here’s how the Cherries might line up to take on David Moyes’ side on Saturday:

Manager: Eddie Howe

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Asmir Begovic (GK)

The former Chelsea man made a big mistake in the draw against West Ham last month. Will want to redeem himself with a strong performance.

Simon Francis (CB)

The 32-year-old defender missed out on the midweek cup game. Should be back in the starting XI for Saturday’s encounter.

Steve Cook (CB)

The 26-year old Englishman is a permanent fixture in the Cherries backline. Should start at the heart of the three-man defence.

Nathan Ake

Nathan Ake (CB)

The Netherlands defender will occupy the left-hand side of the back three for the visitors at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Adam Smith (RWB)

The former Tottenham man did not feature in Wednesday’s loss to Wigan. Should return to the starting XI on Saturday as the right wing-back.

Lewis Cook (CM)

The England youth international has established himself as a regular in Howe’s side in recent months. Should start in the middle of the park.

Dan Gosling (CM)

The 27-year old former Newcastle United midfielder is set to make his 14th league appearance of the season, partnering Cook in the midfield.

Charlie Daniels (LWB)

The left-flank will be occupied by the ever-present Charlie Daniels. Has missed just three games this season in the Premier League and will make his 21st appearance on Saturday.

Callum Wilson

Jordon Ibe (RAM)

The hero of the win against Arsenal last weekend, Ibe scored his first league goal for the Cherries, against the Gunners, and will want to build on that performance, against West Ham.

Ryan Fraser (LAM)

The Scottish attacker is likely to start on the left-hand side for the Cherries against Moyes’ West Ham side on Saturday.

Callum Wilson (ST)

The 25-year-old has scored three and assisted one goal in his last four Premier League appearances. A definite starter at the tip of the attack.
