How England Will Line Up Against Germany? Tottenham Stars Galore, Only One From Manchester United

With the threat of a closed doors Euros looming, teams still need to prepare for the championship and with the international break on, England do have a tough task of playing Germany in a friendly.

The Three Lions are set to take on the World Champions, which would not be an easy feat, especially with a number of key players injured but this could be a great chance for Roy Hodgson to see how his other players deal with probably the best team in the world.

We look ahead to this tasty tie and predict the starting line-up for the English team.

Jack Butland

With Joe Hart out due to injury, the choice automatically goes to Jack Butland, even though Fraser Forster has had a great season for Southampton as well.

Kyle Walker

The Tottenham right-back has been better than Nathaniel Clyne this season and should get the starting place against Germany.

Gary Cahill

The central defender is an automatic choice, even though John Stones could be someone who Roy Hodgson might want to try out, the experience of the Chelsea man should keep him in the side.

Chris Smalling

The Manchester United defender is another player who has had a good season even if his club has not and he will look to transfer his good form for England as well.

Danny Rose

Another Tottenham player makes the list, even though Rose does not have a lot of quality competition for the left-back spot.

Eric Dier

Tottenham are dominating the side and for good reason as well. Dier has been excellent for Tottenham and should continue in the central midfield role for England as well.

Danny Drinkwater

Danny Drinkwater should get a chance to show what he is all about after the Leicester midfielder broke into the national side with a bunch of great performances.

Dele Alli

The English attacker has been another Tottenham player who has had a great season and it will be interesting to see how he does on the international stage against Germany of all teams.

Ross Barkley

The Everton attacker has not always been the best player for the Toffees but he can change games in a second and that is exactly what Hodgson will be hoping for against Germany.

Jamie Vardy

The Leicester forward might not be scoring regularly but he should still get a chance to show what he is all about in this great game.

Harry Kane

The top striker in the Premier League this season would be a great partner with Vardy. Both of them are hardworking and are in the form of their lives, they should play together and see how well they do against a good German side.
