Rangers came away with a point from the Celtic Park in the Old Firm clash against Celtic, securing a 1-1 draw, thanks to a late equaliser from defender Clint Hill.
A brilliant strike in the 35th minute from Stuart Armstrong gave the home side the lead after striker Martyn Waghorn was denied a goal for the Gers by the brilliant Craig Gordon. The striker was to be denied once again in the second period, but a late leveller by the veteran meant they returned home with a point. Here is how each Rangers player fared on the day:

Wes Foderingham – 6/10
Made several good stops of Armstrong’s efforts in the opening period, before being beaten for the opener as he could not get down quickly.
Lee Hodson – 7/10
Was a surprise inclusion in the playing XI but defended very well, nullifying the threat of Scott Sinclair completely.
Danny Wilson – 6/10
Came into the lineup for the suspended Rob Kiernan. Made some crucial interventions to keep Moussa Dembele in check.
Clint Hill – 6/10
Made a series of fouls in the first period and was lucky not to be cautioned. However, did get booked early in the second half, but redeemed himself to score the equaliser and become an unlikely hero.
Lee Wallace – 6.5/10
Lacked the pace to go up against Forrest, but that didn’t prevent him from keeping the winger in check. Stopped him from crossing the ball into the box a lot of times.
James Tavernier – 6/10
Deployed on the right-hand side of the midfield to deal with the threat of Sinclair and Kieran Tierney. Booked for a wild challenge on Scott Brown, but played a good hand in the build-up to the equaliser.
Jason Holt – 5.5/10
Combative display in the middle of the park and came close to scoring. However, he fluffed his clearance that led to Celtic’s opener.
Emerson Hyndman – 7/10
Extremely confident performance in the midfield from the youngster. Was the driving force for Rangers and his drive led to the leveller.
Barry McKay – 6/10
Had to play within his limits and as a result was shackled going forward. He did not let his teammates down and looks like a star in the making.
Kenny Miller – 6.5/10
Connected the midfield and the attack well and exerted some pressure on the Celtic defence. Would have seen a red card for an early lunge on Armstrong.
Martyn Waghorn – 6/10
The big striker posed plenty of questions but failed to capitalise on two excellent opportunities to put his team in the driver’s seat.
