It was another breath taking round of fixtures in Seria A and it lived to the expectations as there was some entertaining and controversial games in the round 10 of the Seria A. Milan had an early kick off on Tuesday night away at Palermo  where the hosts took the lead courtesy of two goals from Fabrizio Miccoli and Franco Brienza either side of half-time. However AC Milan fought back brilliantly to take a point back home. It was El Shaarawy once again who rescued the Milanesse club just 10 minutes before the final whistle. The youngster scored his seventh league goal of the season and Montolivo scored the other goal to make it 2-2.

Juventus 2-1 Bologna
Reigning champions Juventus extended their lead at the top of the table over Napoli with a 2-1 win over Bologna. Juve was held at ransom by Bologna until the late strike from Paul Pogba which made sure 3 points in the bag for the home side. As usual Juventus dominated large spells of possession in the first half but credit has to be given to the Bolgna defense who were excellent in their duty. The Old lady finally broke their resolve in the second half from an excellent play from Pogba and Giaccherini to set up  Fabio Quagliarella with an easy chance who converted it to make it 1-0 to Juventus.

Tha match had its talking points as Juventus had a goal disallowed in the 13th minute when a phantom foul was called just as Paul Pogba headed a perfectly delivered Andrea Pirlo corner in to the goal. Bolognahad their fair share of disappointment as well.  Alberto Gilardino headed the ball down in the box towards Manolo Gabbiadini who volleyed the ball past Gianluigi Buffon, but the referee waved it off, claiming Gilardino had committed a foul on the initial header.

And it was Pogba who eventually got the winner scoring off a header from a perfectly flighted cross from Sebastian Giovinco.  The goal extended Juve’s unbeaten streak to 49 matches and allowed them to extend their lead over second place Napoli.

Parma 3-2 Roma

It was a nail biting thriller at Parma last night and the match ended up in favour of the home side with a 2-3 final score line. Roma once again failed to capitalize on their on their lead and allowed Parma to climb over them. Erik Lamela scored as early as the 8th minute to give advantage to the traveling side. But Parma replied with a knockout punch through goals from Ishak Belfodil and Marco Parolo, who scored in quick succession to put the hosts ahead at the interval.

Parma’s Cristiano Zaccardo further extended the home side’s advantage when he scored at the 65th minute mark. Roma got a life line later in the game when Totti pulled one back from his second shot after the first shot was blocked by goalkeeper Antonio Mirante from a penalty, however the hosts held on to their slender lead and Roma suffered yet another set back in their inconsistent  league campaign. They now lie on 7th place with 14 points on the table.

Inter Milan also played a cracking match against Sampordia which ended 3-2 in favor of the hosts. Milito, Palacio & Guarin were the scorers for Nerazzurri who climbed to the second spot.
