Here are two players who Tottenham must offload in January

Over the last few seasons, Mauricio Pochettino has transformed this Tottenham Hotspur side into a real superpower. Having seen the likes of Harry Winks, Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Oliver Skipp come through the ranks; only a few external transfers were required to make this a complete squad.

The signings of Moussa Dembele and Christian Eriksen have been crucial for Spurs and they’ll be hoping to keep all the players fit and ready to face the tough Champions League knockout draw they have received, playing the first leg at home and then the second leg away at the Westfalenstadion – the home of Borrusia Dortmund.

There are multiple players who could benefit from a season away from Tottenham but these are the 2 players that should leave Spurs to gain more experience and game time.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou

Already 23 years old, this French midfielder would benefit greatly if he leaves the Lilywhites. He isn’t really going to get a first-team chance unless he develops as a winger quickly. While he prefers to play on the left wing, he is quite capable of playing anywhere in the attacking line because his short passing and dribbling skills are fearsome.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou

Like Eden Hazard and Wilfried Zaha, Nkoudou, who joined Spurs for £9m, tends to get fouled a lot due to his low centre of gravity and impeccable dribbling skills.

He has only featured for Tottenham in one game so far this season – in the EFL Cup. Having come on as a sub, he played for a total of 26 minutes in the English cup competition.

Sides from the championship will be interested in his signature as any player who has represented Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League is labelled as a ‘Big Player’ who would definitely improve any championship side.

Kyle Walker-Peters

This 21-year-old English international has only started one game for Spurs all season – the EFL Cup 4th round tie away at the London Stadium against a rather strong West Ham United outfit. He also featured as a substitute in the premier league game against Leicester City a couple weeks ago and in the champions league on gameweek 1; against a strong Barcelona side.

Kyle Walker-Peters

Extremely quick on the ball, he is capable of delivering some top quality crosses that can easily be converted into goals by the supreme players they have up front. While a loan move looks more attractive, Serge Aurier and Kieran Trippier fighting for starting spot will result in tough weeks ahead for Kyle Walker-Peters to break into this Spurs XI.
