Celtic moved 13 points clear of their rivals Rangers after winning a pulsating Old Firm Derby 2-1 at the Parkhead. Odsonne Edouard and James Forrest were the scorers for the home team, while Ryan Kent equalised for the Gers in a game full of drama.

However, Steven Gerrard’s men rallied back into the game and scored an equaliser 18 minutes into the second half via a wonderful solo effort from Ryan Kent.
They almost took the lead when Ryan Jack had the chance to score from a Kent cut-back, but the midfielder couldn’t keep his effort on target.
The final 15 minutes of the game were played with both teams down to 10 men as Dedryck Boyata was forced off injured. By that time, Neil Lennon had made all the substitutions.
Eventually, Jack’s miss came back to haunt Rangers when Tavernier’s loose pass was pounced by James Forrest and he slid in the winner. Moments later, Kent shoved Brown to the ground as the Celtic captain prevented the Rangers winger from retreiving the ball quickly.
The visitors almost rallied to get another equaliser but Worrall’s effort was deflected wide by Kristoffer Ajer from three yards out.
Just after the final whistle, there was a scuffle between both sets of players in the tunnel and Rangers’ Andy Halliday was sent off.
Right so amidst all that drama, Celtic won this game and edged ever so close to the league title.
