Chelsea picked up all three points at the Vitality Stadium with a commanding 4-1 victory over Bournemouth but the story of the night has to be of Eden Hazard finally breaking his EPL duck with two goals in the game.

The London club started brighter and got the first goal through Pedro. Hazard then got on the scoresheet before Elphick pulled a goal back for the Cherries. Chelsea continued the second half in the same way and made the game safe through a goal from Willian before Hazard scored his second in the 90th minute.

Eden Hazard

Chelsea moved up ninth in the league table and Guus Hiddink should be pleased with the performance.

Here are the player ratings for the Blues.

Asmir Begovic – 7/10

The goalkeeper did alright for the Blues, he did have a few good saves and ensured Chelsea didn’t concede when the score was 2-1.

Baba Rahman – 7/10

The defender didn’t have the best start to the game but slowly got better and put in a good shift for the Blues.

Branislav Ivanovic – 7/10

Ivanovic had a decent enough game at the back and had a great battle with Joshua King.

John Obi Mikel – 7/10

Mikel was played in the centre-back position and he did do a decent enough job for the Blues.

Cesar Azpilicueta – 6/10

For once Cesar was caught out a couple of times, though Chelsea were not punished. He did grow into the game later on,

Cesc Fabregas – 9/10

The Spanish maestro was at his best at the Vitality, he got three assists in the game and was excellent all game for the Blues.

Nemanja Matic – 6/10

The midfielder did not have the best start to the game but slowly got into the groove and ensured Chelsea were able to do more in the midfield than Bournemouth.

Willian – 7/10

The only player who seemed to do well all season, Willian was all energy in the game and took his chance really well for Chelsea.

Eden Hazard – 8/10

The duck was finally broken as the Belgian got two goals. He was good in the game but will hope for a few more goals till the end of the season.

Pedro – 7/10

The former Barcelona star got the first goal of the game and could have had another but shot over, still a pretty good performance from the winger.

Diego Costa – 7/10

The Brazilian was at his best as he kept on working for the team, he could not get on the scoresheet but he was a threat for his side.

Substitutes:

Ruben Loftus-Cheek – NA

The youngster came on late in the game and had a couple of good runs.
