In the current season, he ranks fourth among the top scorers of the Premier League in 2014/15. He is also the highest scoring English striker jointly with Charlie Austin.

Kane scored a brace in North London derby and helped his side to win against rivals Arsenal last Saturday.

Harry Kane has scored 13 goals in this season so far from 21 Premier League appearances. Compared to him, Arsenal’s front man is lagging behind by 6 goals. He has scored 7 so far. It has to be taken into consideration though that Giroud was injured in the initial stages of the league.

The English youngster has an enviable pass completion percentage of 76%. Olivier Giroud too is not lagging behind with 65% pass completion rate in this season so far.

Kane has created 15 goalscoring chances for his team, Giroud’s stats being 11. In this section too Kane has surpassed the Frenchman by a handsome margin.

A very intriguing quality of the young English striker is his ability to track back often when the opponent is attacking. That is a very good quality in a striker who comes back to help out the defenders and midfielders. That’s obviously an extra advantage for any manager.
