Pep Guardiola is the manager who everybody wants. Touted to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, Alex Ferguson at United and finally tracked by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich an offer which he rejected, is now according to reports from Daily Mail will be the manager of Manchester City next season.
Guardiola has signed a pre contract with City, claims Spanish FIFA agentThe Spanish manager who is currently on vacation at New York has agreed a pre-contract with the Citizens and will replace Roberto Mancini claims a Spanish agent.
Francois Gallardo told Spanish radio: “Guardiola has a pre-deal to be the next manager of Manchester City. No matter if Milan or whoever make offers to him.” Gallardo added that Guardiola would try to bring Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes with him to the Etihad Stadium.
If this deal moves through, it will be a heard break for Chelsea fans and especially Roman Abramovich who has showed much interest in bringing Guardiola to Stamford bridge. Guardiola has previously been linked with City, who boast a number of former Barcelona executives in positions of power at the club, including those who originally appointed Guardiola as Barcelona Coach in succession to Frank Rijkaard.
