Chelsea and Manchester City are rumored to have already triggered talks with Pep Guardiola, but the former Barcelona coach prefers Arsenal and his agents have already made contact with Arsenal about possible vacancy for the hot spot.
Guardiola wants Arsenal jobBut sadly Arsenal management still prefers Wenger who is the most successful manager in the club’s history. Even though Arsenal are struggling for past seven seasons to get a trophy, Wenger still manages to get them into champions league every year. Considering the limited funds he gets and with Arsenal’s wage cap, he has done a tremendous job. Imagine if Wenger was given 100 million transfer kitty? So it looks like Guardiola’s wish of managing Arsenal would not be granted.
Sources believe Guardiola will look in to other options if his Arsenal dream fails and also he prefers a job in London (Chelsea).
Meanwhile former Barca defender Rafael Marquez commented,
‘Guardiola will soon return to the game. I think he’ll go to England. He’d be perfect for Arsenal,’
