This means if they win, they can go 18 points clear at the top and watch the rest of the game week. While Turf Moor has crushed a lot of teams’ hopes over the last couple of seasons, one cannot rule out the Cityzens to emerge victorious in this game too.

The Clarets’ form has drastically dipped and they are now winless in eight, since the 13th of December and are in 7th place, just one above Leicester City and four points ahead of the Toffees. Manchester City have won 6 out of their last 7 meetings with Burnley at Turf Moor and are in line to continue that fantastic record.

John Stones is fit for this outing and is expected to feature in the playing XI. David Silva sustained an unfortunate injury against West Bromwich Albion and is mostly going to miss out. Leroy Sané, Benjamin Mendy, Fabian Delph and Gabriel Jesus are all sidelined.
