Chelsea fans have something to cheer about after a below par season so far. It has been reported that James Rodriguez has expressed interest in moving to English Premier League, namely Chelsea FC.
The Sun captured the report from Spain, said that James has grown restless under new boss Rafael Benitez and is looking to move away from Real Madrid. The reason said to be the lack of game time and regular place in the starting eleven. Currently Real Madrid has several superstar midfielders and James is playing in the shadows of Ronaldo and Bale.
While the authenticity of such move is yet to be seen, it is very possible given that James is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes. He is known to broker high value deals in the football community. The client list includes Ronaldo, Angel di Maria, Mourinho, Falcao and many others. James Rodriguez, though interested in moving to Chelsea, should that not materialize, will have a plethora of options with several other clubs interested in him. Manchester city and Paris Saint-Germain to name a few.
There also has been reports for a few transfer windows now that Real Madrid is interested in Eden Hazard. So a swap deal can definitely be expected.
