Great News! Chelsea Given Second Chance To Sign Defender

Valencia is ready to offload their Defender Aymen Abdennour, in the summer, thus putting different clubs on alert with regards to the former AS Monaco player.

According to Tuttomercato, Valencia are looking to let go of the player in June as they want to reduce the payroll after ending up with no Champions League football next season.

Reports suggest that Chelsea had earlier tried to bring the player to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window but were refused then. This time around, however, it is tough to believe that the Blues are still interested in the player as the Tunisian International did not shine at Valencia and hence failed to live up to the expectations of the fans and the Club alike.

The player moved to Valencia from AS Monaco at the start of the season in a €21.8m deal and are expecting similar amount for him in the summer transfer window. Further, Valencia still needs to pay AS €10m in two installments in July and December.
