Gray On The Left, Albrighton Out – Strongest 4-4-2 Leicester Line-up To Face West Ham United

Predicted Leicester City Line-up To Face West Ham United In The Premier League

Claude Puel has made a mixed start to his time at the King Power Stadium as he fell to a loss to Manchester City at home, after winning his first game in charge of the Foxes. The loss to the league leaders should not bog them down as they have a great chance to bounce back this weekend when they travel to the capital city to face a struggling West Ham United side.

The Hammers lost their previous game, the first of their current manager David Moyes, to Watford, and are 18th in the points table. However, the hosts have enough fire-power to stun the Foxes and it should be an interesting match-up.

Team News

The Foxes have no new injury issues to worry about. However, they are still without the services of Robert Huth and James Matthew, who remain the only absentees for Puel.

Formation: 4-4-2

Manager: Claude Puel

GK – Kasper Schmeichel

After a decent outing against Manchester City, Schmeichel will be hoping to keep a clean sheet, against a struggling West Ham side.

RB – Danny Simpson

Though not too productive, Simpson has been an effective option at RB and Puel has stuck with him. He should continue doing so in this game as well.

CB – Wes Morgan

The skipper of the side, Morgan will have his work cut out against the likes of Carroll and Sakho, and will have to put in a good shift to help his side to a victory.

CB – Harry Maguire

To ease things at the back should be Maguire, who has shown no nerves in his first season at the King Power.

LB – Christian Fuchs

Fuchs has remained as the first choice LB at the club for quite a while now and he will hope to have a productive trip to London.

RM – Riyad Mahrez

Though not as effective anymore, Mahrez is still the danger man in games like these and West Ham need to keep a close eye on him, until the final whistle.

CM – Wilfried Ndidi

Adding mettle to the midfield should be the energetic Ndidi, who will be up against the likes of Noble and Kouyate, on what could be a tough night for the visitors.

CM – Vicente Iborra

Iborra has been exceptional in some games and bang-average in some. So his performance in this game could well decide the outcome of the game.

LM – Demarai Gray

Puel has preferred using Gray over Albrighton on the left flank and this game against West Ham is a decent chance for the youngster to showcase his skills.

Jamie Vardy

SS – Shinji Okazaki

Replacing Albrighton in support striker’s role should be Okazaki, who can add a bit more of a goal threat to this Leicester City attack.

ST – Jamie Vardy

Leading the line should be Vardy, who will hope to get the better of the likes of Reid and Ogbonna in this game.
