Graham Potter to make 6 changes – Strongest 4-3-3 Swansea XI to face Nottingham Forest

Predicted Swansea City line-up to face Nottingham Forest in the Championship this weekend

As the international break comes to an end this weekend, Swansea City return to the Championship to take on an impressive Nottingham Forest side. The Swans come into the game on the back of a win against Millwall City and will be aiming to make it two wins in a row.

Graham Potter will be aiming to maintain some form going into the game as Swansea bid to make a swift return to the Premier League. Forest are on the back of a two-game winless run and this gives Swansea the perfect opportunity to pick up a win.

Team News

Graham Potter will be boosted by the return of goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt who missed the last two games through injury. Joe Rodon and Jay Fulton are back in training and should be available for the weekend as well. Apart from long-term absentees Wilfried Bony and Martin Olsson, the manager has a fit and firing squad to pick from.

Probable Swansea XI

Manager: Graham Potter

Formation: 4-3-3

Kristoffer Nordfeldt (GK)

The Swedish international’s absence was felt in the last two games and Graham Potter will be happy to have him back.

Conor Roberts (RB)

The Welsh youngster will be buoyed after making his national team debut. He should return to the fold in this game.

Van Der Hoorn (CB)

The Dutchman has been a leader at the back for Swansea so far and is their best defender as well.

Joe Rodon (CB)

The youngster continues to impress under Graham Potter this season. He has looked comfortable at the back.

Kyle Naughton (LB)

Given that Olsson is out injured, Graham Potter has to field Naughton in his place.

Kyle Naughton

Bersant Celina (RCM)

The 22-year-old Kosovo international has been good with his running and range of passing in the middle of the park. Should start.

Yan Dhanda (CAM)

Swansea’s new signing has looked good whenever he’s been brought off the bench. He has already picked up one goal so far and looks confident on the pitch.

Tom Carroll (LCM)

Carroll’s passing has been fruitful for the Swans going forward. He is one of their most creative players on the field.

Joel Asoro (RW)

Asoro continues to turn heads with his top-notch performances. The winger’s running will be essential for the Swans this weekend.

Oliver McBurnie (ST)

He is by far Swansea City’s best player this season. The striker has scored 4 goals in 6 appearances and will be hoping to continue his scoring form in front of goal.

Barrie Mckay (LW)

The Scot has looked devastating at times on the left flank and can pose a massive threat against Forest.
