Gracia to make 3 changes – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Watford line-up to face Tottenham

Predicted Watford Line-up To Face Tottenham In The Premier League

After a frustrating 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last weekend, Watford next face Tottenham Hotspur as they travel to Wembley on Monday in desperate search of a win.

The Hornets are without a win in six games and have managed two points from it. Currently, they appear to be limping towards the finishing line with safety not yet guaranteed.

Javi Gracia will be looking to reach the 40-point magic mark to ensure his team’s safety in the Premier League.

Probable Watford XI

Manager: Javi Gracia

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Orestis Karnezis (GK)

The Greek international has done well between the sticks to keep Gomes on the bench. He should retain his place against Spurs.

Daryl Janmaat (RB)

Janmaat has performed well whenever he has been called upon this season. A reliable presence at right-back with good pace, the Netherlands international will have a task cut out against the in-form Son Heung-min.

Daryl Janmaat

Craig Cathcart (CB)

Cathcart has spent the entire season on the sidelines due to injury but is now back to full fitness. He would be raring to go against Spurs and will be hoping to dish out positive displays until the end of the season.

Christian Kabasele (CB)

Kabasele has been a constant presence in the backline for the Hornets and it is likely to stay the same on Monday.

Jose Holebas (LB)

The Greek international has been defensively solid this season but lacks the cutting edge going forward. However, he is an impact player and should start at Wembley.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (CM)

Doucoure has been a standout performer for Watford this campaign. He has brought physicality and bite to the midfield and his energy to run around the entire 90 minutes is second to nothing. He is a sure starter on Monday.

Abdoulaye Doucoure

Etienne Capoue (CM)

Capoue has gained the trust of Gracia, establishing himself as a first-team regular. He will be itching to make a mark against his former club.

Richarlison (LW)

Richarlison made an instant impact after joining Watford at the start of the season from Fluminense. However, he has faded in the second half of the season but will be given a chance to regain his lost form.

Kiko Femenia (RW)

Femenia is primarily a right-back but Gracia has used the Spaniard in an advanced role in the last few games. With his pace and gusto, Femenia could be a threat to Tottenham.

Richarlison

Will Hughes (CAM)

Starting behind the striker will be Will Hughes, who has not been able to hit the heights since joining Watford from Derby at the start of the season. However, there is no doubting his quality as the diminutive attacker has the ability to change the course of the game in a matter of minutes.

Stefan Okaka (ST)

With Troy Deeney out for the rest of the season with a foot injury, Okaka will be tasked with leading the line. The big man has to deliver the goods in the final few games if he is to save his Watford career.
