Gracia to make 2 changes – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Watford line-up to face Bournemouth

Predicted Watford Line-up To Face Bournemouth In The Premier League

Watford FC will welcome Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth to the Vicarage Road this Saturday, as Premier League returns to action after a two-week break.

The Hornets sit 11th in the league table, level on points with their Saturday’s opponents who occupy 10th place. Manager Javi Gracia will be hoping to lead his team to a win over the Cherries and break into the upper half of the Premier League standings. They have suffered two heavy defeats against Arsenal and Liverpool in the last two games and will be keen on bouncing back.

Probable Watford XI

Manager: Javi Gracia

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Orestis Karnezis (GK)

The 32-year-old on-loan Greek goalkeeper has been preferred over Heurelho Gomes. Has started the last eight league games.

Daryl Janmaat (RB)

The Netherlands international did not start in the loss against Liverpool before the international break. Has made 20 appearances in all competitions this term.

Adrian Mariappa (CB)

Adrian Mariappa has been getting some regular game time of late and should start this game.

Etienne Capoue

Sebastian Prodl (CB)

The 66-time capped Austrian international has featured in 18 Premier League games this season for the Hornets. Will need to deal with the threat of Callum Wilson.

Jose Holebas (LB)

The 33-year old Greek full-back has managed 3 assists in 22 league games in the 2017/18 campaign. Can be a positive influence going forward.

Abdoulaye Doucoure (CM)

The Frenchman has been Watford’s best player this season, providing drive and thrust from the middle of the park. Has chipped in with 7 goals and 3 assists.

Etienne Capoue (CM)

The former Tottenham Hotspur man wasn’t heavily involved in the first-half of the season. However, he has started seven games in a row since Gracia’s arrival.

Andre Carrillo (RW)

The Peruvian winger, on loan from Benfica, has just managed one goal and two assists in 26 Premier League appearances.

Troy Deeney

Roberto Pereyra (CAM)

The former Juventus attacking midfielder has scored 2 and assisted 2 in 26 Premier League games in the 2017/18 campaign.

Richarlison (LW)

The Brazilian winger started off on a bright note for Watford but his form has tailed off in recent months. Hasn’t scored a Premier League goal since November.

Troy Deeney (ST)

The Watford club captain has scored 5 league goals this season, three of which have come in the last six games.
