According to reports, Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo had told one of his team-mates last year that that he saw himself completing a return to Old Trafford to join Premier League giants Manchester United once again in 2016. The news has been stated by Guillem Balague, whose new book titled ‘Cristiano Ronaldo: The Biography’ is at present being serialized by Sky Sports.
In the book, it had been claimed by the Spanish football journalist that, “Cristiano Ronaldo still dreams of returning to Manchester United” and that Louis van Gaal’s side “have enough financial power to secure his return”.
The Spaniard had written, “In summer 2014 he told a Real Madrid player who was about to leave Los Blancos that he saw himself at United in two years’ time. The feeling that Carrington was the ideal place to pave his path, Old Trafford to play his football and the Premier League to feel loved gradually developed in Ronaldo’s head.”
