Good News For Arsenal, Bad News For Manchester United As £50m Striker Prefers London Life

According to Express, Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is now considering a Summer move to Arsenal.

Earlier reports claimed that Manchester United are planning to sign Edinson Cavani as a replacement for Falcao who may leave end of this season. So, if Cavani opts to sign for Arsenal instead, it will be a big transfer blow for the Red Devils.

Even though Arsenal already have Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck in the squad, the Wenger’s men still need a world class striker to compete with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City for the league title. Chelsea have Diego Costa, City have Sergio Aguero and United have Rooney, Falcao and RVP. So, signing Cavani could convert this Arsenal team into a genuine title contenders.

Reportedly, Cavani is unhappy with life at the Paris club and may prefer Summer exit as PSG will not be ready to lose their star striker in the middle of the season. It is believed that the prospect of living in London is a tempting factor which will decide Cavani’s future club.
