There is only one month left for the Transfer window to shut and Chelsea have so far signed only two major players. However, one player who has been linked throughout the summer is closing on the transfer to Chelsea.
The Blues are reportedly confident on signing Romelu Lukaku from Everton on a massive £60 million deal as per Evening Standard. The Blues made a bid for the Belgian striker last week but a bid of £57 million was rejected by the Toffees. Everton are believed to be holding out for a valuation close to £75 million but Chelsea are hoping that they will be able to convince the Merseyside club to part with their star striker for £60 million.
With Atletico Madrid interested to take back Diego Costa, Antonio Conte is kind of forced to find a quality replacement and it is not working out to be very easy for a club without any European football.
