Liverpool have been looking out for Anderlecht Starlet Samuel Bastien for a summer transfer move to the Anfield. The Reds have been looking out for the player since he broke into Anderlecht’s first team last season.
Bastien is currently on a loan deal with Serie B side Avellino, where he has made 24 appearances so far with two goals to his credit for Avellino.
Reports suggest that Juventus, Fiorentia and Roma are all looking to sign the player, however reports from Calciomercato, claim that Liverpool are currently leading in the race to sign the player while the three Italian clubs are trailing behind the Reds.
The Reds scouts have been watching the Belgian player for some time now and as such Liverpool is ready to offer £5.2m for the player.
This would make another addition to the list of Belgians in the Merseyside, with Simon Mignolet, Christian Benteke and Divock Origi playing in the first team under Jurgen Klopp.
