Good Job Klopp – This 13 Goals, 8 Assists Attacker Could Win The PFA Award For Liverpool Next Season

Why Sadio Mane Can Win The PFA Player Of The Year Award Next Season

Jurgen Klopp has already shown great improvement in his time at Anfield as he managed to take the club into the Champions League for the first time in more than three years. He made some decent signings, most of who have established themselves in the first team. One such player, who has been in terrific form for the Reds, is Senegalese international Sadio Mane.

With 13 goals and eight assists in just 29 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, last season, Mane was the most productive player in front of goal for the Reds. The Senegalese star achieved this feat despite being away with International duties and a long-term injury towards the end of the season. He is one of the quickest players around in the league and has been able to adapt himself to perfection under Klopp’s intense system.

His pace and versatility have allowed Liverpool to form an explosive attacking partnership and made Liverpool one of the top goal scorers in the league. He did miss a month with injury at the end of the campaign and is expected to be back fresh for the next campaign and by the looks of his debut at Anfield, he is a genuine contender for the PFA player of the year award for the next season.

Known for his dribbling and finishing abilities, Mane is a smart winger who seems to know what to do and where to be on most occasions. He can cut in and find space for himself in front of goal while can also run behind defences, stretching them all over the place, helping his side attack through the middle.

The likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Adam Lallana have already formed a partnership with the 25-year old and it is only going to get stronger next season. The Reds are also looking to add the likes of Mohamed Salah to their ranks and if they play Salah and Mane on the wings, there will be a few defences that will have some nightmares.

Klopp’s system at Liverpool is slowly taking effect and the self-belief that Champions League football gives is also bound to have its own effects on the squad. Liverpool are surely a team on the rise and at the moment, Mane is one of the most important players in the squad. He is one of the first names on the team sheet and if he can start the season in fine form, he can surely be consistent and help himself to the ‘Player of the Year’ title next season.
