Two Transfers That Manchester United Should Complete In January
Having lost just one game so far this season, Manchester United are easily one of the favourites for the title in the English league. Recent form has not been encouraging and Jose Mourinho seems evidently frustrated. Injuries have taken their toll on the squad but the Red Devils have a chance to improve their squad in the January transfer market.
The Portuguese manager has been linked with some of the finest talents in Europe at the moment, with some of them ready to move in January. There are particular areas in the squad that needs to be improved while some of the players in the squad need to be offloaded. Here is one player who should be signed and one player who should leave the club in January:

Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur)
The English international is finally back to full fitness and is expected to fight for the first-team place at Tottenham, with Ben Davies looking so impressive. He is easily one of the best players in his position in England but is unsettled in London, having spoken about a move away from the club in the summer.
His injury restricted any move away from North London but now that he is back in action, Manchester United, who were desperate for him in the summer, are expected to be back in January. With no recognised left-back impressing Mourinho at Old Trafford, Rose might be the manager’s best option to improve his squad.
The likes of Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian can all play in that role but Mourinho has stuck with Ashley Young, a make-shift full-back, which speaks volumes. So the experience of Rose is what Mourinho is craving for and might seal the deal this time around.

The 20-year old just penned a new deal with the club and a lot is expected out of him in the future. But at his age, and with loads of competition in the first-team, he is not going to get regular game time which his quality deserves.
Mourinho is not expected to field him in the Premier League and there are a number of top-flight clubs who would love to have him in their armoury. So United are better advised to send him out on loan, at least for the rest of the season, to make sure that he continues his progress at the highest level.
