Go For It Klopp – This 20-year Old Valued At £18m Could Turn Liverpool Into A More Dynamic Outfit

Why Liverpool Should Go All Out For Borussia Dortmund’s Emre Mor

After three long years, Liverpool are back in the Champions League this season and Jurgen Klopp has already spent on a couple of players, who could play huge roles in the upcoming campaign. The likes of Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke have improved an already sparkling attack at Anfield but reports suggest that Klopp wants yet another attacker in Emre Mor.

The Turkish international has failed to establish himself in the first team at the Signal Iduna Park under Thomas Tuchel and was put up for sale early in the transfer window. However, reports now suggest that Dortmund are ready to get rid of the player on a permanent basis and value him at £18m.

The likes of Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Celta Vigo, Fenerbahce and Wolfsburg are all scouting him this summer but Klopp and his connection with the Bundesliga might help Liverpool land the 20-year old.

Do Liverpool Really Need Him?

One of the most exciting stars at the moment in world football, the Copenhagen born player is a gifted footballer with a keen eye for goal. Nimble footed and hard to contain, Mor is a natural dribbler with a smart head on his shoulder.

He is not intimidated easily. Though he still needs to work on a few aspects of his game, he is very confident of his abilities to showcase them at the highest level. Mor is versatile and can play in any of the roles behind the striker, in midfield or in attack and can cross and shoot with precision. At just 20, he is only going to get better and is a genuine star for the future.

It is of a wide opinion that he is more valuable than the petty £18m valuation that Dortmund have quoted for his sale. This is more of a reason for Liverpool to not miss out on the Turkish sensation, with 12 international appearances already to his name.

The likes of Georginio Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Jordan Henderson are expected to fight for two places in the midfield of a 4-2-3-1 system (if and when it is deployed) next season at Anfield. Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane are the only options for the three man attack behind Roberto Firmino or Daniel Sturridge, who could be the first choice next season for Liverpool.

Though Lallana and Wijnaldum can cover in those areas, Mor is a more natural replacement out wide and can help Liverpool turn into a more dynamic outfit in the attack. At 20, he is not expected to play week in week out yet but moving to Anfield will surely allow him to take his career one step further.
