Go For It Conte – Why This €22million Bayern Munich Star Will Turn Chelsea Into One Of The Best In Europe

Why Renato Sanches Will Turn Chelsea Into One Of The Best Sides In Europe

Having won the Premier League title last season, Chelsea were expected to stick with the core of the side, making a few adjustments for the challenges next season. However, they have now replaced their top goal scorer and have bought a new first choice midfielder and a centre-back, changing the complete chemistry in the squad.

The new signings will surely make Chelsea a stronger side but Conte is still not done with his business and is now looking for players who can act as backups for first team stars, to help them compete on all four fronts next season. One such player now linked with a loan move to Chelsea is Renato Sanches whose market rate is €22million.

The Portuguese midfield wizard made a name for himself last summer with the national side and earned a place in the squad at the Allianz Arena last summer. However, he failed to impress Carlo Ancelotti, making just six starts, failing to score a single goal in the German league.

The Italian manager is now convinced that he does not belong at the Allianz Arena next season, but is only ready to let him go on a loan this summer. Chelsea are one of the many clubs interested in his signature, alongside Manchester United and AC Milan, who are also monitoring his situation. So the question is if Sanches would be a decent addition to the squad at the Bridge. However, odds have been slashed as to point out that Sanches will get better with playing minutes and you could get a if you pin his hopes on the Portuguese youngster.

A central midfielder known for his strength and passing abilities, Sanches is a gifted footballer, who loves to dictate play from a deeper role. He is effective as a part of a three-man midfield, where he can use his offensive awareness to catch opponents off guard. But he is also equally adept at sitting back and cutting the lines of the opponents, frustrating them in the final third.

He is disciplined and smart, stays one step ahead of the game and at just 19, he will only get better. He has enough attributes to become a star in England and Chelsea could actually be the best club for him for next season.

The Blues are expected to allow Nemanja Matic to quit the club this summer while Cesc Fabregas remains the only backup to Tiemoue Bakayoko and N’Golo Kante – the expected first team midfield duo for next season.

Sanches would not be too far down the pecking order and just a couple of impressive performances at the start of the season, even if in domestic cup competitions, will make Conte stand up and take notice. If that happens, he can fast become a first-team option for the Italian.

In Kante and Bakayoko, Chelsea already have an explosive midfield and adding Sanches will easily make their midfield one of the best, not just in England, but also in Europe.
