Paris Saint-Germain have valued Edinson Cavani at £40m, for the summer transfers. Cavani who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United as one of their potential transfer targets turned 29 last Sunday.
Cavani is now looking to enter the Premier League and as such Chelsea and United will the clubs he may consider joining. However, being 29 years of age, may be one of the main hurdles for the player as the Red Devils may not be willing to meet PSG’s valuation of £40m, although same cannot be said for the Blues.
While both the clubs are in desperate need for a good striker, Cavani with his experience may be a good addition to their respective squads.
With 71 goals in 130 games for PSG, Cavani due to his age may not fit the club’s valuation and albeit Manchester United wanted to pay £50m for the player under David Moyes, it is obvious that they will not be reluctant to pay £40m.
