Olivier Giroud is now one of the main targets for the critics. Last season’s top scorer (French league) is yet to open his account in the premier league. It’s not the lack of goals that worries the Arsenal fans, it’s the way he missed some easy chances worries the gooners more.
Giroud: Goals will come
Giroud yet again missed a great chance to level the scores during the closing stages of the match against Chelsea on Saturday. But the France striker still believes that he will score many goals this season.
He said,
“It was a good pass from Alex and I think that I needed to go round the keeper as he came out quickly, If I chipped the ball, the defender could have saved it. So I think I made the right decision. But luck was against me. It happens.”
“I scored against Coventry (mid week) and it was really good for me. And I will keep working hard to score goals to help Arsenal.”
