Rangers travel to Motherwell at the weekend after beating FC Ufa in the first leg of Europa League play-off at Ibrox on Thursday.
The win against Ufa extended Gerrard’s unbeaten start as Rangers boss to 10 matches but the Gers couldn’t find a second goal despite a strong second-half showing.
The Gers have got off to an unbeaten start under Steven Gerrard and will be desperate to continue their run after taking a step forward towards Europa League qualification.
Rangers were boosted against Ufa by the return of Ryan Jack, who sat out the match against Kilmarnock. Lee Wallace has recovered from a long injury and was named on the bench against Ufa.
Lassana Coulibaly is yet to recover from an injury, while Jamie Murphy has a cruciate ligament injury and could be out for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter remain out.
McGregor continues to be a reliable man in goal and he will start against Motherwell on Sunday.
Tavernier has been excellent so far this season, providing width to the team and staying defensively solid.
Goldson scored against Ufa and was a rock at the back. He will be looking to continue his stellar form for the Gers.
Arguably, Rangers’ best summer recruit, Katic has been a colossus in the defence, helping Gerrard’s side to an unbeaten start this season.
Flanagan should drop down to the bench and he should be replaced by Barisic, who is a real leader on and off the field.
It will be a big test for Ryan Jack to shield the Rangers’ backline against the fiery Motherwell side. He has to be at the top of his game if Rangers are to return home all smiles.
Arfield will be given the license to roam around and keep his side ticking. He is a workhorse but if he could add a goal or two to his game it would be wonderful.
With his directness and incisive passing, Candeias could give the Motherwell defenders a run for their money at the weekend.
Kent can be frustrating at times for his lack of end product and tendency to lose possession but he is developing very well under Gerrard. He could be picked ahead of Ejaria for this game.
Against the well-oiled Motherwell defence, a player like Lafferty would be important. He is strong, physical and his robust presence can cause the Motherwell defenders all kind of problems.
Morelos has been in blistering form this season and would partner Lafferty up front.
