German Manager And Media Reacts To Schweinsteiger’s Issues At Manchester United

His move from Bayern Munich to Manchester United had been the topic of much fanfare. Bastian Schweinsteiger, a player with all possible trophies in his cabinet was expected to contribute to Manchester United’s title challenge. Unfortunately, not everything has gone very smooth thus far. Though his team is currently in the fourth position in the League, the German has been compared to Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea who sit currently at 14th position on the table.

The Manchester United manager has not helped the new arrival or made things any easier for him either. He has been quoted mentioning that the world cup winner needs to do more for the team and it probably is a statement that with some underlying pressure on Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Schweinsteiger’s performance against Wolfsburg was also nothing worth mentioning and has led to further scruitny from the media. The German manager Jogi Low however, had only positive things to say about Schweinsteiger when approached by the German media post the Wolfsburg match. “He is still a world class player and undisputed as our captain. You have to give him time to get used to the new league… I’m sure Bastian Schweinsteiger will still have a lot of joy at Manchester United.” Low was quoted saying.

Manchester United fans will be hoping that his words do come true soon.
