Gaetan Bong And Jose Izquierdo To Start – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Brighton Line-Up To Face Swansea City

Predicted Brighton and Hove Albion Line-up To Face Swansea City In The Premier League

Brighton & Hove Albion will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to four games, when they take on Swansea City, at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

The Seagulls have not lost their previous three games, having played out 1-1 draws against Southampton and Everton, between which there was a 3-0 win over West Ham United as well. As a result, they find themselves in a decent 12th position in the league table and manager Chris Hughton will be intent on extending the run against the Swans this weekend.

Team News

Midfielder Steve Sidwell is the only injury-enforced absentee for the Premier League newcomers for the upcoming clash.

Here’s how the Seagulls might line up against Paul Clement’s side on Saturday:

Manager: Chris Hughton

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Matthew Ryan (GK)

The Aussie shot-stopper should continue to feature between the sticks for Brighton on Saturday against the Swans.

Bruno (RB)

The 36-year old club captain continues to defy age with strong displays week in week out at right-back. Should keep his place in the starting setup.

Bruno

Shane Duffy (CB)

The former Evertonian has been fairly solid at the back for the Seagulls and will want to continue in the same way against the Welsh outfit.

Lewis Dunk (CB)

The Englishman hasn’t been able to achieve the amazing levels of his previous season in the Championship. Will have a battle on hands against a familiar foe in Tammy Abraham.

Gaetan Bong (LB)

The 29-year old Cameroonian has been preferred to Markus Suttner in the last two games and it is likely that he will retain his place at left-back.

Dale Stephens (CM)

The 27-year old has featured in every single Premier League game so far for Hughton’s side and is set for his 11th appearance of the season.

Davy Propper (CM)

The Dutchman has become an integral part of the team since his summer move. Should partner Stephens in the middle of the park.

Anthony Knockaert (RW)

The Frenchman is starting to flourish in the Premier League. Has just one goal and no assists to his name and will be keen on improving those numbers.

Pascal Gross (CAM)

The German has been involved in 7 of Brighton’s 10 goals this season and has been their best player going forward. Will operate in behind the striker.

Izquierdo

Jose Izquierdo (LW)

On the left flank, club record signing Jose Izquierdo is expected to keep his place in the playing XI. He has shown glimpses of his ability, but needs to start living up to the expectations now.

Glenn Murray (ST)

And leading the attack for Brighton, on Saturday, will be veteran forward Glenn Murray. The 33-year old is on a bit of a streak having netted 3 times in the last 2 games and will want to keep the run going.
