FPL Tips: Ideal captaincy candidates for game week 11

Fantasy Premier League managers will be fresh after a high scoring game week last time out that saw many profiting while thousands failed miserably. Fortunately, those that failed will receive another chance to make up ground this week.

Though Liverpool and Arsenal clash against each other, placing both teams’ players at a risk of delivering, this game has seen a lot of goals in the past. Hence, there might not be a lot to worry about. Here, we take a look at three options that should definitely be given the armband this week-

Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Though Aguero blanked against Tottenham Hotspur last week, there’s no denying he’s one of the most potent options in the fantasy game. Priced £11.3 million at the moment, the Argentine has provided points on a consistent basis this season.

Sergio Aguero

He is the top scoring forward in the game and he comes up against one of the weakest defences this season in Southampton.

The Saints have conceded a total of 14 goals and have struggled to play their game this season. Though Aguero faces the risk of being taken off early, as he has been over the last few weeks, there’s no denying the Manchester City forward can deliver big in the short time.

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)

Just like Aguero, Raheem Sterling has been a regular provider of points but he faces the risk of rotation. The England winger did pick up an assist last time against Tottenham but he was benched in the previous one against Burnley.

Yet Sterling tends to deliver big and seems a sure starter against Southampton this weekend. Priced £11.1 million, Sterling is still owned by close to 400,000 managers and is a good source of differential points. He has already picked up 4 goals and 3 assists this season, meaning there’s a chance he’ll add to that against the Saints.

Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Kane has struggled to find goals over the last few weeks but with both Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen back from their respective injuries, there’s a good chance the England captain will return to form. Their partnership makes Kane tick and that’s why he is a good armband option even though Tottenham will face Wolverhampton Wanderers.
