The Black Cats disappointing scoreless draw against Norwich means they are sinking further in the last place as Gus Poyet’s merry go round might not be working properly. Talking of the fortunate have-nots, Newcastle produced another class act to thrash Crystal Palace by a 3-0 margin at Selhurst Park. But the talking point till Sunday would be on two men: Tim Sherwood and Emanuel Adebayor. Spurs, under a new era, beat a well oiled Southampton side by a 3-2 scoreline as Togolese Adebayor came out of wilderness to score brace and the winning goal against the Saints. For Mauricio Pochettino though, the current slide in form would be more than just worrying.
