Forget Slaven Bilic: Here Are 3 Super Replacements West Ham Could Look To Hire Including Former Man City Man

Slaven Bilic

The Hammers are one of the many clubs who have managed to change their fortunes after a mediocre start to the Premier League campaign. Slaven Bilic’s side slipped to the 12th place in the points table after their recent loss of form, but they have been decent this season at their new Olympic Stadium. However, they have only a little chance of qualifying for Europe next season, which might cost the Croatian manager his job. West Ham have failed to lift a trophy under Bilic but they were competing with the best in the league in the previous season. With the lack of progress this season, reports suggest that the Hammers are set to sack their manager and that they have already started scouting for possible replacements. To make life easier, here are three potential replacements for the Croatian, including the title-winning manager from the previous campaign.

Claudio Ranieri

It is hard to ignore the Italian mastermind who was behind the fairy tale at the King Power not so long ago. Ranieri helped the Foxes to an impossible title-winning campaign and though he lost his job just months later, he deserves to be remembered for his miracle. It is a feat which is not easy to achieve and shows what he is capable of. West Ham should not delay too much if they want him at the Olympic stadium this summer. Ranieri, after his efforts with Leicester City, will not be without a job for too long and West Ham will have to act quickly if they want to replace Slaven Bilic with the Italian this summer.

Roberto Mancini

The Italian manager who worked wonders with Manchester City in the Premier League lost his job at Inter Milan earlier this campaign and is currently unemployed. He recently revealed that he is waiting for a new job and West Ham are reportedly considering him as an option to replace Slaven Bilic this summer. Mancini has lifted 12 major trophies as a manager and has recorded one of the best winning percentages as a manager in the history of the Premier League. He is also a cup specialist and is a bloke who can take West Ham back to their best.

David Wagner (Huddersfield Town)

The shocking entry in this list is Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner. The 45-year old German tactician has worked with Jurgen Klopp at the Signal Iduna Park in Germany and is on the verge of lifting Huddersfield Town to their first ever PL promotion. Though he signed a new contract just last year, he has a clause that allows him to leave for a bigger club and West Ham are reportedly looking to lure him to London. He is a passionate manager who spends hours and hours on the training ground and could potentially be a game changer for West Ham United.
