One of the players who commands respect from all quarters in the Premier League is undoubtedly Vincent Kompany. The Manchester City defender is one of the best centre-backs in the game and has been pivotal in their recent dominance over the last 5 years or so. When the time comes, Kompany will be remembered as Manchester City’s greatest captain.
Should Kompany decide to move or retire, City will have a hard time replacing the player. At the age of 32, he is nearing the end of his peak and within a few years, the team will have to replace him at the back. Toby Alderweireld
Alderweireld has been fantastic at Tottenham and he could have one last big move in his career. Manchester City could be the ideal team and there would not be a lot of complications. For one, he has enough Premier League experience with Tottenham, so he knows what it takes to succeed at a big club.

Skriniar has been in decent form and is now reaching an age where he needs to make a big move to further his credentials. City offer the ideal challenge for the same and he would improve under Pep Guardiola.
