Forget Conte’s Arrival – 3 Realistic Destinations For This Out Of Favour Chelsea Midfielder

A season that could have been so much ended in absolute disaster for Chelsea. The Blues had to sack manager Jose Mourinho and were a shadow of the side that won the Premier League with ease last season. Apart from the many issues that Mourinho picked up with almost everyone out in the world, players in the side also had a poor time at Stamford Bridge.

One such star who didn’t really do all that much this season was the 24-year-old Oscar. The Brazilian has just scored eight goals all season and even was omitted from the Copa America squad by Dunga. There have been rumors of Oscar being up for sale and it wouldn’t be a surprise seeing that Chelsea do cash in on the Brazilian.

With so many teams looking for attacking midfielders, we provide three clubs that could be realistic destinations for the Brazilian star.

Juventus

The club which have been linked with a move for Oscar for the longest amount of time, the Italian champions have wanted to sign the attacker and it could happen at the start of next season. With no real surety about the future of Paul Pogba, the Old Lady could do well to snatch the 24-year-old from Chelsea.

The Blues on their part could lure Paul Pogba in the deal and using Oscar as a makeweight would be the perfect deal for the Turin club. Oscar would get to play in the Champions League while still having a chance of winning a league title, and Chelsea would get the man that almost every club in the world wants.

PSG

Another club that has been trying to get Oscar is PSG, they might be losing out on Zlatan Ibrahimovic next season as the Swedish star moves away, but they do have a decent South American contingent and a heavy Brazilian influence as well.

Diego Costa has also been linked with a move to the French capital and with the likes of Lucas, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and David Luiz in the side, PSG would certainly make Oscar feel a little bit more at home compared to many other sides in the world.

Manchester United

This one might be a little tricky since you don’t normally see one Premier League star move to another rival club, but with Jose Mourinho almost set to take charge of the Manchester club, Oscar could be a realistic target for the former Chelsea manager.

It would be a happy reunion and would work wonders for the Manchester side as they look for a better 2016-17 campaign and with one of the best managers in the side, even Oscar could turn out to be a gem for the team.
