Three Possible Replacements For Alexis Sanchez Who Arsenal Can Target

London outfit Arsenal are still in with a chance to win a trophy in what has easily been their worse season under Arsene Wenger. They face Chelsea in the FA Cup final but winning that will not be enough to keep Alexis Sanchez at the club.

Standing as the most productive player in front of goal in the league, Sanchez has been Arsenal’s best player for more than a year now but a lack of progress at the Emirates has seen him reject a contract offer, making him a transfer target for some of the biggest clubs in Europe. With no Champions League to offer, Arsenal might not be able to convince him to stay and they will need to search for proper replacements. Even with more than a month left for the transfer window to open, here are three players Wenger should approach if they fail to keep the Chilean at the club:

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)

The German international is easily one of the most exciting attackers in world football. Though he is injury prone, he has been a transfer target for a lot of big clubs. He has been influential this season as well in the Bundesliga and Wenger should pursue the 27-year old if he is unable to keep Sanchez at the club. Reus will be an instant hit with the fans and if he can keep himself injury free, he is more than a capable replacement for Sanchez.
