The experienced mid fielder was expected to strengthen the Liverpool squad and fill the gap left by Liverpool’s former captain Steven Gerrard, but he has not been able to find his form at Liverpool. Even though the 29-year old is the player who has covered most distance in the premier league, he has not been able to turn his efforts into goals or assists. Now that Henderson is out due to a broken bone in his leg, Milner is handed the armband and he will have to find his mojo back.
