Spanish Club Levante are having to face a harsh reality with regards to their finances. The Club’s transfer plans have been trashed by their lack of finances to bring in the new players.
Like every club, Levante too have been planning to improve their squad in the transfer window. The Club has been looking to add Chelsea’s Christian Atsu into their squad. Atsu who was on loan to Bournemouth during the first half of the season has come back to the Stamford Bridge as he didn’t get much game time in Bournemouth.
Chelsea charges around €1.5m for a loan deal for a season and expect the loanee Club to increase the wages of the player, Levante seem to be having the crisis here.
As such the Spanish club’s finances have hindered the Atsu deal and till this issue is solved the circumstances will stay same for Levante.
