Faster Than Theo Walcott – A New Speed King At Arsenal

A new speed king at Emirates? Is it Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?, or  Alexis Sanchez? No, surprisingly the player who out throned Theo Walcott to become the new speed king of Arsenal is not even an attacking player.

Defender Hector Bellerin is officially the fastest Arsenal player now, after beating Theo Walcott’s speed record.

Theo Walcott broke the news to media during  Arsenal’s member’s day. When he was questioned whether he can win the race against club legend Thierry Henry, he replied,

“Me! Thierry is in his 30s now so I would be very disappointed if I didn’t beat him. I beat his sprint record which Hector has now broke”

Bellerin enjoyed a good pre-season and with Carl Jenkinson’s loan move to West Ham, we can expect to see more of Bellerin in the upcoming premier league season.
