Fantastic Jozefzoon, Average Woods – The best and the worst rated Brentford players vs Fulham

Full Time: Fulham 1-1 Brentford

Not a great result for Fulham, who would have really liked to keep the pressure on Cardiff. However, Brentford were resilient and pegged them back just before the final whistle.

Brentford have little to play for in the middle of the table but it’s good to see that they are still fighting until the end of this gruelling season.

Brentford Player Ratings

Daniel Bentley 6/10

Bentley did not have a good game for Brentford. He looked shaky all the way through the game and should’ve done better with the goal. Did not look up for the aerial threat of Mitrovic.

Henrik Dalsgaard7/10

A decent performance from the right-back. He won a lot of his aerial duels against a strong Fulham front line and also managed to keep Sessegnon pretty quiet.

Chris Mepham 7/10

Didn’t have a bad game. Looked to be up for the fight aerially and also won a couple of good tackles.

Andreas Bjelland6.5

Had a decent game up until half-time when he went off and was replaced by Egan. Looked like an injury.

Yoann Barbet7/10

The left-back had a decent game today. He looked solid at the back and wasn’t challenged too much by the Fulham attack. He won his aerial challenges well and even had four shots on goal.

Florian Jozefzoon8/10

Had an excellent game throughout and looked threatening on a few occasions. Finally got his reward when he provided the assist for the equaliser.

Nico Yennaris6/10

Yennaris had a pretty average game for Brentford. His passing was pretty sub-standard and he was anonymous for much of the game.

Ryan Woods7/10

Woods had a good game for Brentford. He looked dangerous going forward and his passing was excellent.

Romaine Sawyers 6.5/10

The central midfielder’s tackling was good and he also managed three shots on goal. Should’ve done better with the chances.

Sergi Canos7.5/10

Looked strong going forward down the left flank and excelled with the ball at his feet. Had a couple of dangerous chances as well.

Ollie Watkins7/10

The young striker looked lively even though he never really had a decent chance on goal. He drove at the Fulham defence well.

Substitutes

John Egan6.5/10

Replaced Bjelland just after half-time and slotted in quite well. Looked a little shaken by the presence of Mitrovic but won a few aerial duels against him as well.

Neal Maupay7.5/10

Came on in the 69th minute to replace Sergi Canos and made the difference for his team, grabbing a goal late on to rescue a point for Brentford. An influential substitute.

Kamohelo Mokotjo6/10

Came on in the 78th minute to replace the disappointing Yennaris and was equally disappointing himself. Not a good day for Brentford’s defensive midfielders.
